Spring's Curse
It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves.
- William Shakespeare
The White Stag has not been seen in a hundred years until it appears to Sabina Lyona, crown princess of the Elves. With its warning of darkness rising, her life of hidden hunts and stolen freedom shatters.
Now, on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, Sabina faces more than her crowning ceremony. The council has arranged her betrothal to a foreign prince she has never met. Worse, an assassin stalks the palace, sworn to end her life before she can inherit the throne.
Torn between duty and desire, bound by a destiny she doesn’t understand, Sabina must uncover the truth of the stag’s prophecy before enemies—both within and beyond the castle walls—decide her fate for her.
In a world where legends breathe and betrayal waits in every shadow, one choice could save her kingdom. Or destroy it.

What insprired this story
Spring's Curse was inspired by a dream I had seven years ago, of a beautiful Elven princess and a white stag. The story then grew from there to the beautiful story now available. This story was a brain child and that dream will always be the start of everything.
What inspired me to start writing
I had always wanted to be a writer, even once trying to go to college for it. I had always wanted to write stories to help people escape reality, like books did for me. I never started writing until I was encouraged by my husband to follow my dream
Why this story matters to me
Spring's Curse matters to me because it was what started my writing journey. It has always been the story that was near and dear to my heart and I believe it will always be the story that started everything. It is like watching a child grow.
