Finishing my debut novel

Writing a story and finishing a story is such a different feeling... To see where it starts and now your are at the ending is crazy.

For almost two years of writing and seven years of a story just sitting in my mind is now finished. I feel as if I am saying goodbye to old friends and leaving them in the past, in a way, but also I am giving them to new people so my characters can make new friends.

I am overjoyed with finishing a book and fulfilling a lifelong dream. I know more stories are to come from this world and I cannot wait to start writing book two. I think the hardest part about finishing is that I know in my mind that I need to take a break, but I don't want a break from these characters and the scenery of Trenis. I love them so much and taking a break is like not talking to your friends for one, two or three weeks. It is absolute torture. We shall see what happens and see if I can hold out on a break.
